Ahead or On Time?:

We are still currently right on time for posting pages. The pages for June will be completed this week so that means we'll actually have buffer pages again. If all goes well during June, I should have a lot of buffer pages. I'm also able to catch up on some smaller things I've missed for Patreon, so all seems to be going really well.

With the merch now launched too of May, I hope to build enough funds for July merch. In the future, I hope this will not only help pay for itself, but maybe earn me back a little as well if I can do a bit more than break even. We shall see what the future brings. The poll for July's merch is up now on Patreon and even with only a small number of members currently, it should be another interesting batch of goodies come July. 

In other news, finally getting some necessary house fixes done too. Spoke with our neighbor to help cut down their trees that bend over toward our house as we would like to eventually get a car port to help better take care of our car, especially during the winter months. We saved up quite a bit for it and so far, we have a day scheduled and we'll be splitting the cost of getting the trees down. They simply spread too much pollen and the trees aren't very strong themselves and their roots are also damaging the house too, so as much as I love my trees, I have to consider the future and the benefits without them.

Ahead or On Time?:

For once, I do actually have a couple buffer pages. We'll see how long that lasts, but at the moment, I'm keeping up better than I thought. I have the last pages of ch 4 scripted and thumbnailed so I know where I'm going. It does look like, that at the current time, this chapter will end in July. As I still haven't fully scripted out ch 5, I know this book will end either at the end of Ch 5 or 6. It just all depends on how I wish to play out these next roles. 

For the rest of this month, I do still owe a couple people some artworks so will be cleaning those up and getting them out, but otherwise I'm just waiting on the Merch to arrive and it should be wonderful. At least I think it is. Everything should be ready by May the 28th at the latest and based on the poll I'll be posting to Patreon, should be merch properly in the middle of July.

Back on Schedule + May Merch News:

As promised, new page on Friday, which puts us back on schedule and makes up for the week I missed in posting a page. Currently, we are actually a little ahead of schedule in terms of page production!

In other news, the May merch has been ordered and we're now just waiting for it to arrive all safe and sound. We have a postcard and sticker set for this first option. As we have no patrons in the elven tier, these will be going straight to the ko-fi store. This month features the oc Modris Ragnavar. In truth, this was actually the first designed character for PR and the first one who had some of his background already written. Current patrons will be able to vote at the end of the month for who they'd like the next merch set to be focused on.

Calm Mornings, Busy Days:

Will be spending the next couple days hashing out the rest of the pages and content for this month so be sure to check out my Picarto link for livestreams as I probably will be working on those pages then. I'll be sending out the arts for prints really soon too. 

Overall, been using a new program to keep track of my comic pages and their progress, along with my standard work flow. It does give me better insight as to where I need to improve. I am hoping that by livestreaming more often, I'll be able to lessen the amount of procrastination I've fallen into as well. I'm not terribly behind, nothing I shouldn't be able to complete in 2-3 days and be right back on schedule. Just means I have to work really hard. 

Saying this, I know I missed a page last week. For that, I am sorry and I do plan to make it up by Friday as soon as everything else is caught up and conquered. Like I said, tune into the livestreams as it'll be the only time I'll be working on pages publicly. I do not, at this time, plan to post these livestreams to the youtube channel yet, so currently an timelapses I preserve will be for Patrons only.

And So Much MORE:

I nearly had April's list of things to-do cleared, just missed a couple things I'll be working on this month. As I mentioned last week, with no paid work coming in, I will be devoting myself to comic pages and Patreon. There's lots of stuff planned and some already in the works. With all the free time now on my hands, this will probably go much faster. Nor do I plan on taking on outside work till at least the middle of June.

There are also some new planning/organization techniques I want to try in order to keep up with pages and maybe even create buffer pages. We shall see. The Patreon May Bulletin should be coming out to the public soon too which will illustrate better what to expect in Patreon this month. New tiers have been revealed after the removal of goals, which means I will also be adjusting the progress bar at the bottom of this site soon too. The goals now will be focused on 2x a week page posting and more request opportunities for patrons in terms what you'd like to see, sketches, and more.

Otherwise, I am feeling much better myself. My tailbone is healing very nicely, though it still hurts a bit if I sit too fast on a hard surface. I am also now helping my S.O. with their back tattoos so these first couple weeks will surely be a handful.
