No Rain:

We were supposed to get a good storm yesterday and just like the previous one, it went right around us...this would so far be the first year where we have not had a single decent storm hit our area. My parents 1 hr away would receive the brunt of it all. It's so dry here, the threat of potential fires being sparked in this state is very real. We did receive a tiny bit of rain last night, just enough to wet the ground, but that'll be desert bone dry by noon if something doesn't change. It's a bit worrisome.

XD Go figure, I complain about no rain and what does it do all day today after over 2 months of no rain...it rains! And oh Great Hearts was is much needed!! It's been raining on and off today, even a couple downpours and I can practically hear the plants sigh with relief. Maybe now everything won't look so dead and trees will stop shedding their leaves like its autumn already
