Final Week of May:

Starting off by saying that this is the last week to purchase the items below, so if you haven't already, make sure to do so before they're gone!

Otherwise, so far, things are looking alright. I have a lot to do this week, but I'm going to try my best as I always do. I hope to at least order the stickers for June shortly as I still have to finish the art for the postcard. June is pride month so the postcard will feature some PR pride! Since I didn't do Mermay art for this year for May, the stickers will feature the mermay theme as per the poll requested. I do also, or rather would like to, try and do livestreaming again. I did hold a poll for this too and Twitch had won that so will be trying to set that up when I can so I can hopefully chat with some of you and share my art process in more real time. In softer news, the garden I started is growing well. Found a cute little snail on the sidewalk yesterday so took it home for the garden. The aquarium seems to have stabilized for the time being. Everyone is doing good and fine. Finn's fish, the babies that hatched a few weeks ago now are doing good too. Very energetic and so interesting to watch as they're growing up!

Eventful Weekend:

Pushing onwards, this past weekend was interesting. We did get see some friends, but also really put the battery operated air pumps for the aquariums to the test. Randomly lost power on two of the hottest days thus far this year, so that way was fun, in a sarcastic manner. Luckily it was only on Saturday for about 5 hours. We believe, given what we saw and heard from the neighbor when we returned home, was that a service provider probably was checking/doing something with the electrical poles, messed up, caused a fire, and there was a bit of a scene. The largest concern is that this fire was near trees and someone's home. Luckily nothing else caught on fire but the damage was decent enough that repairs had to be called in order to get it fixed and over 200 homes, including us, were out of power. It was hot. Very hot. I'm glad I still have pup cones in the freezer for the dogs to help them stay a bit cooler till we could get the generator going. Sunday was calmer, though I manage to pick up a spikey soft shelled turtle off a bike path and put them safely toward the lake. I have a feeling they were crossing from the river to the lake and because there were so many people going by on bikes or walkers stopping to gawk, it was getting too afraid to move since soft shelled turtles are much vulnerable to weaknesses than other turtles. They swam away at rapid light speed once they touched water XD It was amazing!

That about sums up that exciting weekend. This week will be mostly work. I am only 4 pages away from finishing up chapter 5, so it looks like it'll be exactly 40 pages for this chapter as well. I do hope to be able to do a 2x a week update in a future month for everyone, but so far I'm just stay barely a centimeter ahead of my schedule so I need to be able to pull much farther ahead of it in order to make this happen. Going to try though at least.

Page 200!!!!:

For starters, that is right! This is officially page 200! 

I am rather proud of myself to getting this far and I hope to be able to do much more in the future! So far, I am staying on top of my goal this year in completing 80 PR pages. I'm right at the spot I should be to reach that goal. I am hoping that if I can push in completing a few pages ahead of schedule, I would love to do at least a month where I post 2x a week! That is the ultimate goal but right now, I'm just not ahead enough to actually manage it safely with Patreon also still remaining appropriately ahead as well. Speaking of Patreon, I do plan to bump up the Shortsword and higher tiers up to 12 pages ahead, so look out for that maybe coming soon!

This is supposed to be one very rainy week so hopefully my little garden survives it all. 

Overall, the remaining fish in my 10 gal. aquarium are doing alright. There are 4 rasbora still remaining and we did get 2 rice fish to add with them, which seems to have actually calmed down the rasbora. It was hot this past Sunday so I won't be surprised if storms are kicked up. Hopefully nothing too terrible like the tornado we had already had a couple weeks ago. Luckily it hadn't touched down and fizzled out before it could do damage, but still. Tis the season I guess.

Other than that, not much going on. I did take a bit of a tumble in my mental health lately, but working on building that back up. I think I just did socials a bit too much in a short expanse of time and became easily overwhelmed. I'll be alright, so don't you worry.

Garden and Illnesses:

Lets tackle the sad part of this past week/weekend first. I had 10 kubotai rasbora and now I'm down to 6. Sadly, the 4 had to be pulled from the tank due to showing signs of a fast reproducing infection. I have no doubt it was columnaris or otherwise known as cotton wood given it's wooly white appearance on the fish. I do think I was able to manage to get it before it spread to the others, but those who had shown signs sadly all passed. The remaining 6, as of today, 1 day later after pulling out the infected, so far appear to be shown signs of healing. I can still tell they're stressed due to their lack of color, but they do eat, swim well, and otherwise show no other stress or illness related signs.

On the other note, I did finally start up the garden. Have some vegetables growing and still clearing out a few things, but so far, the plants seem to be doing good and I'm keeping an ever watchful eye on them. If all goes well, there should be plenty between my partner and our families to share in the harvest. 

Other than that, been feeling a bit mentally down lately, but I think I found a way to pick things up again. I am catching up on some missed content so thank you everyone for your patience! Mail Club rewards should be arriving soon as well so look out for those over on any of my socials.
