Short Hiatus Has Started:
Will see you all once more in January!

I am hoping, by then, I may even be able to do some 2 page posts, but it also depends on how other matters go as well. I am working on PR edits on top of new pages while trying to keep up with Patreon content as well. Patrons will be ahead by 12+ pages at the end of November. December will be my final catch up month as I plan out for the next year. So, still lots to do but working on it at a decent pace at least.

So, at this time as well, I do want to thank everyone for sticking around this long! It's been 5+ years since the launch of Parallel Rift. Through all it's troubles, struggles, and excitements, I do feel I am going in a better direction. Once Ch6 begins and ends, I will editing the website itself to upgrade both its visuals and some of the pages as well. There will be a new prologue, which still aligns with the current one, but written and paced more smoothly. The first section of Ch 1 will also be edited, with brand new pages and major dialogue changes to fix the horrendous way it currently reads.
I will say, the initial first 20 or so pages were originally started back in 2016, but because I was doing a lot at the time, they went slowly, lengthy pauses, and also my lack of confidence in sharing the story itself. I do look forward to the edits, I feel they will not only explain a few things a bit better, but align with the overall story in much cleaner fashion and be much closer to how I intended. No, I'm not adjusting any other chapter pages in a big group such as this. There will be some other minor dialogue edits here and there, a few tweaks, but no major changes to other chapters or content.

I immensely look forward to the future and I still hold onto my dream of one day getting this story published as well. The fanbase right now is very small for me to work with a Kickstarter, so it will be dream that lingers probably for awhile yet. I'm not giving up though!

Thank you and have a great week everyone!

Short Hiatus:
From now till January of 2005, more specifically January 6, 2025, no new pages will be posted. Ch 6 cover has already been floating about as an early thing so come the 6th, there will be 2 pages posted that day.
Till then, 12+ pages will be shared on Patreon so if you'd like to dive into the next chapter early, a FEW MONTHS early, then check out the link above and dive right in!

Book 1 of Parallel Rift is also drawing to a conclusion as well. Ch 6 is the final chapter of this book! There is still plenty more to come so no worries about missing anything. That also being said, next year, there will be several changes made as well. I have some of the new prologue pages ready to go and edits made to the first few pages of chapter 1. Next year, I plan to take a couple days to entirely rehash out this website. If time permits, that will also mean redoing other aspects of the site itself. I'll try to work as quickly as I can during that time, so hopefully it doesn't take me too long to get things back up and running and flowing smoothly.

Till then, I'll see you all soon! I will post some other happenings in a couple weeks and probably in December as well, so look out for those updates too. Thank you so much everyone and I look forward to seeing you in the next chapter!

Thank you and have a great week everyone!

Racing:
This past week has almost felt like a race rather than something more easy going. It didn't surprise me to fail some of the goals I had set up for the end of October for things changed, as seemingly per usual. As much as I'd love to make my comic page goal for the end of the year, it doesn't feel as though it's going to happen. I'll keep trying anyway and maybe I'll at least get close, but it does mean neglecting other things as well. Not that I want to, but as they say, sometimes it's necessary. If I want to try really hard, I'm going to have to crack down and well...try really hard.

On the downside as well, that does probably mean I won't have all the time I desired for my plans next year in terms of what I wished to sell, but maybe since the convention is just a trial run persay, it may at least give me enough finances to start preparing for something bigger, and better stock, and actually getting what I need for a proper table one day. Such a goal still feels miles away, but if I want to get PR printed one day, I need to start saving up for that too for, as much as I hate to be a pessimist on the matter, I know for a fact that I would get all the funding from a kickstarter to get the books created, so I'm going to have to save up on my own for a small batch and start from there. I do still also want to make an artist related book too, just a small one, to sell in the future as well, with various doodles and PR related things that show off what I can do and have done. That alone seems like a goal miles away simply because I don't have the funding for any of those sort of things.

I do hope the economy does get better as that will give me some hope that I can get some work coming in again maybe, but right now, it's too few and far in between. Most months, it's only the Patreon income I receive so once Patreon takes their cut and then Paypal takes theirs, it's only about $72 or so a month, and not all 8 current patrons stay on the same tier or there every month...so thus it's probably more around $60-72 or so and well, as I've mentioned, I cannot survive on that if I had to be on my own for any given reason. I'm lucky my partner keeps pushing me and trying to convince me that my art will work out one day and thus remains my ultimate supporter in the matter, but even then, it would be nice to be able to do something for them one day as a thanks for everything they've done for me. Maybe one day it won't be a pipe dream.

Anyway, thank for letting me a rant a little today. Been feeling a bit down and overwhelmed and yet, still trying to get through it all.

Thank you and have a great week everyone!
